KEKUASAAN BANGSAWAN DALAM POLITIK LOKAL DI KABUPATEN BONE PROVINSI SULAWESI SELATAN 2013-2018
Abstract
The power of the aristocrats in Bone Regency has survived since the days of the kingdom, even after royal power to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, the aristocracy still survived because it had to maintain power by participating in the democratic party. The political contestation that took place in Bone Regency was a battle of local political forces that always won the battle of Aristocrats. This research purpose to examine the power of the aristocracy in local politics from the perspective of habitus, arena, and capital, both in local elections, bureaucracy and political parties. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The results of the research show from the perspective of habitus, the leadership of the line of descent has received legitimacy by the people with the lontara principle that is still held firmly by the leaders of the aristocrat ward until now and for defense in, the aristocrat has been prepared with a pattern for people who are seeking help. From the perspective of the arena, it can be seen that the patronage of the bureaucracy and political parties has a great interest in the continuity of the power of the aristocracy and the political system produces political opportunities related to the popularity and capabilities that result from the power. The last, capital owned by the aristocrats that are social, symbolic, economic and cultural capital of the second capital is the most powerful capital symbolic capital which is an Andi title or title of nobility that began with the capability to create a political tool to scoop up votes in political contestation. Symbolic capital has a high bargaining value because it involves the people in Bone Regency still trusting the aristocrat to have the same leadership spirit as the kings.
