The title of this research is the Role of Social Capital Parabela in Supporting the Victory of the Candidate Pair of Regent and Deputy Regent of Buton Regency Post New Order. The purpose of this paper is to find out how much the strength of social capital parabela so that it can provide the victory of the candidate pairs it supports. To examine the problem and get the outcome that is the purpose of this writing, the writer uses the theory of social capital where the indicators are trust, networks and norms. This study uses qualitative data analysis with a case study approach and is analyzed using Nvivo12 Plus software, which is a software for analyzing qualitative research and visualized in the form of graphic images or diagrams.The findings in this research are three indicators of social capital owned by parabela namely trust, norma and networkable to influence the election results in each buton election since the first Buton election in 2006 with the victory of the candidate pair that received full support from parabela. Even though in the 2012 re-election the candidate pair who received parabela support did not win the election due to stronger political factors. From the three capital based on the results of the analysis it was found that the trust factor had a greater influence on the amount of community support for the candidate pair in the Buton election compared to the network and norm factors. This can be understood because parabela is not only a traditional leader but also a community and parabela are bound to one another when they are inaugurated.
