Tasikmalaya is known as one of the cities that has established Sharia Regional Regulations because there is prior support from various political parties and Islamic Organizations that are given to the City and Regency of Tasikmalaya to local residents politically and culturally. This study examines the Sharia Regional Regulations in Tasikmalaya City, especially for Regional Regulation No. 7 of 2014 on Values of Religious Life in Tasikmalaya City. The purpose of this study is to explain how the evaluation of Local Regulation No. 7 of 2014 on Values of Religious Communities in Tasikmalaya City. In addition, the purpose of this study is to find out the accuracy of the law for the community. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study method. Types of data are Primary Data and Secondary Data, where the Primary Data from this study include interviews with the Regional Government of Tasikmalaya City and community especially the leader of Islamic Organizations who felt the local regulations directly and also other figures involved. Secondary data is the supporting data that sourced from literature and documents related to the object/location of the study. In implementing, these regional regulations have not been implemented well because the implementations take place for Muslims specifically only. Whereas in the beginning there was another goal which was to respect each other and also respect with other religions. From the results of evaluations and observations can be conveyed that the presence or absence of local regulations will have the same impact, because this regional regulation doesn’t protect the wishes of the whole community. But as an icon of Tasikmalaya City with local regulations that protect the majority of Islamic community it is clearly success. This Regional Regulation can be a reference to keep the norms and values of Tasikmalaya citizen so the application of cultural values as a city of Moslem Students in Tasikmalaya City is maintained.
