PENGARUH INTENSITAS KOMUNIKASI INFORMAL TERHADAP MOTIVASI KERJA PADA KARYAWAN DINAS KOMUNIKASI DAN INFORMATIKA DIY
Abstract
This study discusses the motivation of informal communication, work motivation, and the motivation of informal communication on work motivation in employees of the Department of Communication and Information Technology DIY. For employees, the most important thing in government, work motivation becomes very important, because work motivation is the key to improve the performance and quality of relationships. The focus of this research is to know the influence of informal communication on work motivation. This study uses a quantitative method with 66 respondents. Data collection is done by means of observation, questionnaires, and study of literature. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis using presentations, averages, modes and medians, and simple linear regression analysis to see the great complexity and coordination between the integration of informal communication on work. The results showed that 1) R Square value which shows the effect of informal communication and work motivation on employees of the Office of Communication and Information by 47%, and 53% are related by other factors.2) The analysis shows that the relationship of informal communication owned by the organization has a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation. The equation is Y = 12,597 + 0.589X. Hypothesis testing shows the influence of informal communication on work motivation among employees of the Office of Communication and Information Technology DIY
