PRAKTIK DINASTI POLITIK DI ARAS LOKAL PASCA REFORMASI : STUDI KASUS ABDUL GANI KASUBA DAN AHMAD HIDAYAT MUS PADA PILKADA PROVINSI MALUKU UTARA
Abstract
This article will seek to explore the practice of political dynasties conducted by Abdul Gani Kasuba and Ahmad Hidayat Mus at the election of North Maluku province. Namely, how is the legitimacy of modalities and relations with political parties in the practice of political dynasties? The study uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach. In data collection, this research is done through Course Library study or more concentrated on secondary data: journal, reputable online media news, and other supporting data. Furthermore, data (online media is reputable) in manage using Nvivo plus 12, through crosstab the analysis of queries and coding similarities then withdrawn the breadth of conclusions. The research argued that the practice of North Maluku's political dynasties occurred along with the implementation of reforms, regional resources and decentralization. In which the practice of political dynasties conducted by Abdul Gani Kasuba and Ahmad Hidayat Mus was legalized by strong modalities of economic, political, social, and cultural modalities. The practice of political dynasties, also conducted through the political domination Course or control over the political party in the recruitment of prospective candidates who will follow the regional head election contestation – legislative elections at the provincial and Regency/city. It caused a narrowing of space in a democracy so that local democracy was impressed to only belong to facilitate the group or groups of people.
