UPAYA PEMERINTAH PADA PROSES PERDAMAIAN SEBAGAI RESOLUSI KONFLIK: SEBUAH STUDI KOMPARASI ANTARA KONFLIK ACEH DAN BANGSAMORO
Abstract
This thesis examines the quality of peace that has resulted of armed-conflict that have occurred in the Aceh and Southern Mindanao. In order to find the answer of articles’ question above, the authors compare the cases of Aceh, where armed-conflict between GAM (Gerakan Aceh Merdeka or the Free Aceh Movement) and the government of Republic Indonesia ended peacefully with Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Helsinki; and Southern Philippines, where reached a peace agreement too, Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB), between the government of Philippines and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF). This research based on analysis of documents of the agreements between two parties and the derivative laws of the agreed agreement which all documents were processed through the NVivo 12 application. This was proven by the fact that all the points of the agreement had not been realized and there was still mutual suspicion between the two parties. Therefore, what has been agreed upon in the Aceh and Bangsamoro conflict must be done as it should so that the creation of lasting peace, so that the quality of peace that will be enjoyed together.
