In language and learning process, reading is one of the basic skills. When people have a good reading skill, they would increase their reading habit. The aims of this research are to know students’ reading habits, their reading achievement on TOEFL and the correlation between these two variables. The researcher used quantitative approach and correlation design to collect the data. The population of this research was 194 students of EED UMY Batch 2013 who attended the International Language Testing course. There are five classes which consist of A, B, C, D and E class. Then, the sample was twenty-eight students of B class related to cluster stratified random sampling with group purpose (cluster). This research used questionnaires and score documentation result as the instruments. Then, the data were analyzed using descriptive statistic and the hypothesis was tested using Pearson Product Moment Technique in SPSS 16. The findings of this research showed that the means value of students’ reading habit level was 75.86 in seven indicators and it can be said that most of students have a fair reading habit both in their L1 and L2. Meanwhile, the means value of students’ reading achievement on TOEFL was 23. It can be concluded that most of them were in the fair level which means they need to improve their reading achievement level. Then, the result showed that the significance correlation value is 0.419 which means the correlation was low. Furthermore, the researcher found that there is no significant correlation between these two variables.en_US
