Abstract
The activity of informational technology nowadays is used as a selling-buying transaction which is also known as e-commerce. This e-commerce technology facilitates the business people to develop their business and facilitates the internet users or consumers to do selling-buying transaction. This development can also be seen from the numbers of online shopping sites growths in Indonesia. However, there is one problem in e-commerce which is the lack of internet users’ trust on online shopping sites because they are considered to not keeping the privacy and the security of their users or customers. Several online shopping sites in Indonesia offer numerous innovations to attract the attention and trust of their users. This research is aimed at proofing whether there is any difference on the level of trust of students of Department of Communication Science Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta on online shopping sites, Bukalapak.com, Elevenia.co.id and Tokopedia.com. This research used questionnaire as the research instrument. The population in this research are the students of Department of Communication Science Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta badge 2009-2015 as many as 1004 students. Sample used in this research are as many as 108 respondents which was taken with simple random sampling. This research used Confirmatory Factor Analysis as the validity test and Cronbach’s Alpha as the reliability test. The analyzing technique in this research used Independent Sample T-test. The result of this research shows that there is no difference in the level of trust of students of Department of Communication Science Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta on online shopping sites, Bukalapak.com, Elevenia.co.id and Tokopedia.com.
