| dc.description | The background of this research are the low level of students learning motivation and learning outcomes on Islamic Education subject. The purpose of this research are to improve the student’s motivation and learning outcomes Islamic Education subject in IV grade using The Power Of Two methods in State Elementary School of Karangwuluh Kutoarjo Purworejo. The research methodology used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The data collection technique used observation, interview, test, and documentary. The subject and object investigated in this research are students of IV grade in state Elementary School of Karangwuluh Kutoarjo Purworejo on Islamic Education Subject. The Classroom Action Research model used Kemmis and Mc Taggart models which consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data analysis techniques used in this research are quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results showed that the method of The Power Of Two during the learning can improve motivation and learning outcomes of Islamic Education. It is proven from the result of the acquisition of observation on students learning motivation on pre-cycle was conducted in the amount of 21.5%, it improve in cycle I 41% to 77% in cycle II. It also improve in the learning outcomes, in pre-cycle was 40%, in cycle I it was 55% and then improved into 85% in cycle 2. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh masih rendahnya tingkat motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam. Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Karangwuluh, Kutoarjo Purworejo dengan menggunakan metode The Power Of Two.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan tes. Subyek dan objek yang diteliti adalah seluruh siswa-siswi kelas IV SD Negeri Karangwuluh Kutoarjo Purworejo, pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Model PTK yang digunakan adalah model dari Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode The Power Of Two selama pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil perolehan observasi motivasi belajar siswa, yaitu pada kegiatan pra siklus 21.5% mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I sebesar 41% menjadi 77% di siklus II. Kemudian mengalami peningkatan juga pada hasil belajar yaitu pra siklus mencapai 40%, siklus I sebesar 55%, menjadi 85% pada siklus II. | en_US |
