AKTIVITAS ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE DALAM MENARIK MINAT CALON PENGIKLAN DI PT TEMPO INTI MEDIA TBK BIRO JATENG & DIY 2016
Abstract
The Account Executive role is very important in a media company. Because without
using the Account Executive in a media company, it will not run smoothly. It
happened because an Account Executive in a media company was in charge of
finding the clients. The study purpose was to determine the activity that carried out
by the Account Executive in PT Tempo Inti Media Tbk Central Java & DIY Agency
in attracting the potential advertisers.
In this study a qualitative descriptive method was used, the research location
conducted in Kolonel Sugiono Street No. 47 Keparakan, Mergangsan, Yogyakarta.
Data collection method that carried out in this study were by interview, observation,
and collection of official files or archives of Tempo Media. The data analysis
technique of the study was using interactive analysis. The applied data validity test
was using triangulation.
The result of this study concluded that the Account Executive activity in PT. Tempo
Inti Media Tbk Central Java & DIY Agency is looking for clients, also establishing
good relationship with client both by using some strategies through planning and
promotional mixes, namely advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, public
relations and direct marketing
