PENGARUH JENIS BUSI, KOIL DAN CDI TERHADAP KINERJA SEPEDA MOTOR YAMAHA JUPITER Z 110 CC DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN BAHAN BAKAR PERTALITE
Abstract
This study is to know the influence of using racing CDI, racing coil and
racing spark plugs on standard engine performance of Yamaha Jupiter Z 110 cc
motorcycles. The use of racing CDI, racing coil and racing spark plugs on
standard motorcycle is one of the ways to get better ignition so it is expected to
get perfect combustion in the combustion chamber. It aims to know the ratio of
power, torque and specific fuel consumption on a standard ignition motorcycle
with a motorcycle that uses CDI racing, racing coil and racing spark plugs.
The power and torque tests is carried out at Mototech's workshop using
spontaneous gas methods starts from 4000 rpm to 10500 rpm. The step in this
spontaneous gas is turn on the motorcycle and insert 1 to 3 gears, then the gas is
stabilized on 4000 rpm, after stabilize at 4000 rpm, spontaneously the gas is
pulled up to 10500 rpm, 5 times each variation. While the fuel consumption test is
carried out at Sultan Agung Stadium using a buret method of collection data by
measuring a motorcycle runs as far as 4 km with a speed of 40 km / h so that the
consumption fuel is known.
In power and torque testing, the highest power is in the standard Rextor -
Koil YZ - standard spark plug with 8.83 HP at 7562 rpm, while the maximum
torque on CDI Rextor – YZ Coil - iridium spark plug is 12.31 N.m at 4510 rpm.
The most wasteful fuel consumption testing on variation of standard CDI -
standard spark plugs - standard spark plugs is 56.3 km / liter while the most
economical is on variation of Rextor CDI - standard coil - iridium spark plug with
63.49 km / liter. So that the use of the Rextor CDI, YZ coil, and iridium spark
plugs are more effective than standard CDIs, coils and spark plugs.
