PENGARUH JENIS BUSI, KOIL DAN CDI TERHADAP KINERJA SEPEDA MOTOR YAMAHA JUPITER Z 110 CC DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN BAHAN BAKAR PREMIUM
Abstract
This research is done for knowing the use of Rextor CDI, YZ coil and
iridium spark plugs on engine performance on standard 110 cc Yamaha Jupiter Z
motorcycle that is assessed by public capable to produce good ignition. The use of
the Rextor CDI, YZ coil and iridium spark plug on standard motorbikes is to
achieve better ignition so a perfect combustion is expected in the combustion
chamber. It aims to determine the ratio of power, torque and fuel consumption on
a standard ignition motorcycle with a motorcycle that uses CDI racing, racing coil
and racing spark plugs.
Sparks testing is done in Mechanical Engineering laboratory by observing
using a camera. The testing of power and torque is done in Mototech's workshop
using a dynamometer with engine speed start from 4000 rpm to 10500 rpm in 3th
gear. While testing working temperature of engine and fuel consumption is done
on Sultan Agung Stadium using data collection methods by measuring with
thermoreader and buret with 4 km length at a speed of 40 km / h so the fuel
consumed is known.
The results of the experiment can be concluded as the highest power produced by
the engine is the Rextor CDI - YZ Coil - iridium spark plugs in the amount of 8.6
HP at 7410 rpm engine speed, while the maximum torque produces is on rextor
CDI - standard coil - iridium spark plug in the amount of 12.4 Nm at 4414 rpm
engine speed. According to the experiment obtained a ratio of the most wasteful
fuel consumption is on CDI racing oil racing Busi racing in the amount of 55.17
km / liter, while a ratio of the most economical fuel consumption is on CDI racing
standard Coil Spark Plug racing in the amout of 60.51 km / liter.
