DESAIN DAN LAYOUTING INSTALASI SISTEM PERPIPAAN DENGAN SOFTWARE PLANT DESIGN MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (PDMS) VERSI 12.0.SP5
Abstract
The development of the industrial world, especially in the field of gas and petroleum currently requires an efficient design, timely, imformative, communicative and quality. In the industrial world will be related to the piping system. The piping system serves as a medium for the flow of a working fluid from equipment to other equipment. Planning a good piping system must be in accodance with existing standards. In designinga piping system, there are several aspects that must be considered so that safe design and economical. For that reason, to minimize the design fault of a general plant and to encourage optimization reques application that support the design and design techniques. One of the most widely used applications today is Plant Design Management System (PDMS). Because of the designing software capabilities, among others, can be to 3D form, to make time in collecting material information and components used and to review which is very helpful in project presentation. Besides, other advantage of PDMS software are able to interact with other design applications such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Xsteel, Caesar and Spoolgen.
In this design, data is taken from MODULE PDMS 2017 which includes P&ID image, Plot Plant image, 2D Equipment image, 2D piperack and pipe isometric drawing. The method in this design uses the Design Module. The Isodraft Module and Draft Module. Design Modul are used to design Module are used to design 3D Equipment, Structure and Piping. The Isodraft Module is used to produce an isometry image from 3D PDMS piping design. Draft Module to produce 2D Plot Plant and Equipment image with dimention of specification and size.
The results obtained after modeling in PDMS using Design Module are 3D image of a 3D Equpment (C-101, C-103, E-101, E-102, P-101A&B, P-102A&B, P-103A&B, T-101, T-102, V-101, V-102), 3D Stucture (Piperack and Platform) and 3D piping instalation. From Isodraft Module can be drawing isometric image of pipe. Then from Draft Module can be drawing 2D Plot Plant and Equipment. Result of report from 3D modeling of pipeline installation in the form of material take-off (MTO) include component, quantity and material used.
