      Abstract
      The aims of this research were to analyze and explain the children’s influence on family purchased decision making process for durable goods and the difference in the degree of children’s influence on every step of the family purchased decision making for durable goods. The objects of this research were durable goods such as: kitchen utensil, furniture, mobile phone, television, and motor vehicle. The subjects of this research were families in Kasihan district who had a 7-11 years old child on 2017. 100 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. Linear regression and One-Way ANOVA were used as the analysis tools using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 16.0. The general findings of this research revealed that children have a positive and significant influence on family purchased decision making process for durable goods. Findings also revealed that children have biggest influence on search for alternative solutions stage and least influence on post purchase reevaluation stage.
