PENGARUH PRAKTIK MANAJEMEN RANTAI PASOKAN TERHADAP RANTAI PASOKAN RESPONSIF DAN KEUNGGULAN BERSAING
Abstract
The background of the research was the tight competition which demanded companies to respond customers’ wish immediately in order to win or stand in the competition. The research aimed at analyzing the effect of supply chain management practice toward responsiveness supply chain and competition excellence from middle to big scale furniture manufacturing companies in Yogyakarta Special Territory.
The research used quantitative approach by distributing questionnaire. The subject of the research was the owner, the chairman, or the line manager of the operational division or the company staff. The research used population technique with 36 industry performers. The analysis used to examine the hypothesis was simple linier regression, double linier regression, and Sobel test by using SPSS Ver 22.0.
The result of the research indicated that: 1) The practice of supply chain management had positive and significant effect toward esponsiveness supply chain and competition excellence. 2) There was no significant effect on supply chain management practice variable toward responsive supply chain. 3) Responsive supply chain variable was not capable of providing mediation effect between the variable of supply chain management practice toward competition excellence.
