PENGARUH VARIASI TIMMING PENGAPIAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN CDI PROGRAMBALE PADA SEPEDA MOTOR YAMAHA SCORPIO Z TAHUN 2010 BERBAHAN BAKAR PERTALITE
Abstract
The development of automotive technology every year is growing, followed by the human needs of the means of transportation. There are various kinds of transportation in Indonesia regardless of motorcycle. Motorcycle ignition system is very helpful in the compression process at the last moment of compression. Some of the main components of motorcycle are CDI (Capasitor Discharge Ignition), coil (ignition coil), and spark plug (busi). Improvements to ignition systems can result in engine performance and fuel consumption of motorcycles.
This research was conducted by using Motorcycle YAMAHA Scorpio z 225 cc Year 2010, to know sparks, power, torque and Pertalite fuel consumption of the variations made. The dynamometer test is performed on 4000 - 11500 RPM for power and torque testing. As for testing fuel consumption carried out on the ± 40 km / h with a distance of 4 km.
The results showed sparks in CDI BRT I-Max, standard coils and iridium spark plugs are optimal, because sparks focus on a single point not moving with temperatures of 550 - 800 ℃. The h ighest torque is in the context of CDI BRT I-Max, TDR YZ Coil and iridium spark plug with torque of 22.01 N.m at 7202 RPM engine speed. And power of 24.2 HP at 8372 RPM engine speed and for very low fuel consumption in part CDI BRT I-Max with TZ YZ Coil of 38.71 km / liter
